Utah trip april 2017

We finally had a trip! we decided to drive down to Orem, UT (7 hours away) to see josh's family. and, if you're a fan of WWE, you'll know there was a big smackdown thing and he wanted to watch it with his family. We left Thursday morning around 8:30.
The drive there was exhausting. corbin was soo fussy! it was a long drive. we arrived at our destination around 3:30. that night, we just stayed there, relaxing, had dinner and watched a movie.
Friday, josh's cousin got there and we went out! we went to 2 different malls, trying to find something to do. no such luck. i ate lunch at my favorite place: the spaghetti factory. yum! they had lunch at their favorite place: in n out burger. We then went to my best friends house, and saw her. she just had surgery, but it was great to catch up! i miss her like crazy. they live pretty close to josh's dad and grandpas grave, so we went and visited them as well. it was nice. Hyrum was a stinker and didn't get out of the car tho.

Friday, we went to an animal museum. it was nice. hyrum loved it. and it was free! We also drove by josh's old house. it was nice seeing where he lived. great blast from the past!

Sunday was the day of this big WWE fight, which started at 3, but they had to cook, so we only had the morning to do stuff. we went to a park! it was fun! it was one of those parks that's enclosed, which makes it harder for the kids to sneak off, which is super handy! we have one of those here in Casper, but the orem one was MUCH nicer! the kids had a blast, and it wasn't too hot or crowded, THANK GOODNESS!

the fight was boring, so i spent most of the time upstairs talking to josh's cousin and aunt. We headed home around noon. it was a much easier drive!
All in all, it was a good trip. there were some hiccup, but it was nice to get out with the family!
Josh is planning on heading down to Denver around April 22-23, but he'll hopefully come home for a quick visit mid may on hyrums last day of school, because they put on a program. i'm dreading it, and just hope it'll be more worth it this summer! til next time...
