We went back to Idaho AGAIN. This time was so we can get the rest of our stuff from Josh's family storage.
We left Monday, after josh got off work. Around 3. We decided to leave Hyrum with my family. We felt it was best. He would have been so bored. It was a long couple days without him!
Monday night we stayed at Josh's aunt and uncle's house by rexburg. We haven't spent any time there in months, and it was closer. It was fun seeing them!
Tuesday, Corbin slept in until 10! Most dayshes up at 720, like a clock! So that was nice. We went to breakfast at a restaurant (frontier pies). Me and my dad used to go there for breakfast every Saturday, so it brought up good memories. The rest of the day, we relaxed. We started going through everything to decide what we'll donate and keep. That night josh took us out to Texas Roadhouse. Our fave! Little Corbin was a little piggy! It's so awesome having a kid that actually likes food! He ate 4 rolls, half of my mashed potatoes and a lemon (first time giving him one and it didn't phase him at all. He loved it and wanted more!).
Wednesday, we did the rest. We donated and loaded the trailer. We ran errands with Josh's grandma. Later that night, josh went to a nerf gun place with his friend Seth. He had a blast! After that, they came and got me and Corbin for ice cream. We never pass that up!
Thursday, as soon as Corbin woke up, at 8, we loaded our suitcases and went to get food. We were on the road by 10. We had to drive the long way because the trailer was full and wouldn't be able to go over the mountain. So..that was fun. We got home around 5. So only about 7 hours, which isn't too bad. It was so exciting to see Hyrum again! It was a good trip. Thanks for everything!
Now, it's time to unpack! Gah!
We've been 6 months without a couch. I think josh is having issues with it! We found a love seat, so perfect size, and it was cheap, and in great shape! Super comfortable. So we bought it while we had the trailer so we could get it home. That was yesterday. TODAY, Josh found a matching couch and loveseat for free. So he decided to get it. He even rented another trailer to get it. He hasn't picked it up yet, so who knows how nice it'll be. But within a lot more than 24 hours, we have too many couches! I have no idea how this'll work. He still wants the couch we got yesterday, so I might see if it can fit in the toy room. Wish us luck! Haha
An update on us. Josh is working away. This location is a lot slower, but he's making more in tips, which is great! He's not a huge fan of Wyoming, so we MIGHT be moving in a year. We have a couple ideas since I don't like Idaho, so we might as well start over!.. right?!
I'm just hanging in there. The kids are either worst enemies or BFFs. There really is no in between. It's driving me crazy.
Hyrum has been getting better... for the most part. But of course, as I write this, he's having a meltdown because he has to be nice to Corbin. Last week, we went to a science place. Every first Thursday of the month, they have a free day. I think I know what we're doing those days! And it's right next to hyrums school, so we can go immediately after. It works out great! They have a crocodile, and several big reptiles, some toys, a huge bubble station. It is so cool!
While we were gone, Hyrum had his first field trip! They went to the pumpkin patch and he had a blast! He's been dying to go to one since we went last year. Crazy how much things have changed.
