MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

So yes...i am officially not a teenager anymore! Yesterday, June 19th, i finally turned 20! oh the joys! Josh enjoyed calling me "kid" because i was still in my teen years. HAHA! he still says i can cuz i'm not "21" yet. Well...not gonna happen! It was cute. The night before, Josh stayed awake til midnight, just so he could be the FIRST one to wish me happy birthday. It was adorable. That day, we just hung around a bit, watched a movie, got ready. And then we headed to Idaho falls. In Idaho falls, we went to the mall, looked around a bit and went to Ross to check on his application there. We also went and saw his dad.
For an early dinner we went to Applebees. It's one of our favorite places! it's 1) cheap 2) easy 3) fast! We always get the 2 for $20, and that comes with 2 entrees, plus one appetizer. Generally for the appetizer, Josh gets his wings, but i hate those so instead, we got mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce. They were delicious! For our entrees, we each get the steak and 2 sides. I get mashed potatoes and fries, and josh gets all fries. it was soo much food, but utterly delicious! that is like my favorite meal EVER! and to top that all off, since it was my birthday, i got a free shooter thing. i chose the chocolate mousse one. It was high with whipped cream, and had chocolate mousse, chocolate syrup and crushed up oreos. Oh my gosh, i was in heaven! haha. too bad i didn't get a picture and you all would be jealous!
After dinner, we headed back to Rexburg, and just looked around. It was funny. We got home and about to walk in the door, and mom was freaking out saying we couldn't come back home til 6. We had to kill 45 minutes! I guess she texted Josh and told him to distract me til 6 but he never got the message. He finally got it after we got home after 6. This is what she was doing for me:

Isn't that awesome!! Those balloons are so dang cute! and that cake...oh my HEAVENS!!! She made it up herself. It's white cake, with a delicious chocolate whipped cream frosting, topped with strawberries. It was to DIE for!!!
After all those fun activities, Me and Josh had plans to go to the movie. And we did! At the cheap theater here in town, it's $2 tuesday, every tuesday! What a deal! haha. So we went and saw What to expect when you're expecting. It got fairly good reviews and the trailers looked hilarious. And they were right! it was actually really funny! It's just about all these different couples who have different sorts of pregnancies. One had twins, one had a painful one, one had to have a c-section at last minute, one adopted. The one i really connected with was the one who had a miscarriage. I know exactly how it feels, and how hard it was, since it's only been a couple months since i had one myself. That part actually made me cry. it was so terrible! But it was an hilarious comedy. I recommend it. So that was my birthday fun! it was a good day to spend with My husband and my family. I love you all so much! Thanks for making me get older seem so much easier!

Oh...something that happened today that was quite exciting. So we're hanging out with Josh's cousin, Jasen and their friend, Nathan. We decided to go to warm Slough, which is a little deserted camp ground with a river. We love going there, it's so peaceful and gorgeous over there. We had Jasen's dog, Misty, with us and she was running outside of our car and we were following us. She starts running off toward the river and there was a little road, it looked like there was a little layer of sand, but we thought we could get across it. WRONG!!! we got stuck! we tried everything we dug, we pushed, we did everything and nothing would budge! There was a couple people just down the way, and they had a truck, so we thought we could go ask them for help. They were very gracious and helped us. It was fantastic! They had a chord thing, and were able to pull us out no problem! We've learned our lesson!

Never go off roading in a small vehicle! Save those fun times for the trucks! haha. It's been a fun day...
