Where will we go today? It started as just another ordinary day. We woke up at about 9, i got ready while Josh just sat and watched a movie. He started making me speed up the "getting ready" process, saying we're gonna go somewhere. I would ask where and all he would say is "a place" or "a special place" i mean....seriously. i'm not a big fan of surprises. But i got ready, i tried to hurry, so i just threw my hair up in a messy bun, and hardly put any make up on. We then filled up our car with gas, and we went on our way.
Where will we go? I have no clue...and i didn't have a clue til the very last turn where we were going. It was a fun drive. Exciting, that's for sure. We headed North from Rexburg, and about 5 miles outside of Ashton, we had our windows down and all of a sudden SPLAT! What was it? There was some stuff on Josh's head and shirt, we thought it was bird poop. We were wrong tho! Once we got up to our destination (MESA FALLS, BTW) We saw some yellow stuff on his seat. What the crap is that? We looked around some more and it was a HUGE bee!!!!!!!! oh my gosh, i about died. The bee hit the car, and it's guts splattered all across the car and Josh. And somehow it was still alive. His whole backside was like off, and obviously it was in misery, so we put it out of its misery. But first, i got a picture:
Look at how HUGE that thing is!!! i absolutely freaked out, it was disgusting! Anyways...Mesa falls was a blast! It would've been even better if there weren't so many stinking mosquitoes! Thankfully we brought the bug spray, and we desperately needed it! Here are some pictures of that adventure...
After those wonderful adventures were done, We were gonna start heading home when a dirt road caught our eye and we decided to be adventurous and see where it heads. It was a dirt road and really pretty. I didn't get much pictures of that. It was fun and a nice quiet drive. A ways down the road, we see a neatly paved road. It was out in the middle of nowhere, seriously. It looked like the road hasn't been driven on in like 20 years. The road was an absolute mess, trees were all over the road. it was crazy, but it was beautiful. The road was going up a huge mountain. We were so high up, the road was covered in snow!! don't worry..i took pictures of those:
Once we turned around and went down the mountain, we went back out and continued on our journey down the dirt road. It all of a sudden got really scary and bumpy. This is what we came across:
Of course, little did we know then, we'd come across a bigger problem 1.5 miles down the road....
It doesn't look that bad in the picture but dang, it was a freaking lake in the middle of our path! and we only had .5 mile left to get to the high way! So we still had to turn around and go back thru the other puddle. After a bit of driving, we were finally able to get back to the High way and on our way home. It was a blast, spending time together. and it was a gorgeous day to do it :)
As for other news, i love my job. I love the satisfaction, especially after i do a freakin gorgeous color and the patron absolutely loves it. I've got a class to go to on Wednesday that i'm kind of nervous and kind of excited for.
Josh still isn't working, but he's applying for jobs in IF so he can get money too and then we'll be outta my parents house!
Oh! both of our ipods got stolen out of our car! :( i was so mad. We have been getting really good with locking our car. We noticed they were there, and we had a 20 minute window where we were inside and had to grab some stuff to take in the car and when we went back to the car both of our ipods have gone missing!! and the ipod cord went with them! ugh...it's a good excuse cuz now we're saving up for ipod touches. we're quite excited but i miss listening to GOOD music. The music on radio stations are terrible. But oh well...
That's whats going on in our life and can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring us :)
