Yep. Yesterday was Easter. And it was fun. It was our first Easter together! On Saturday, we finally got a date! We went to Applebees, and we haven't been there since before we left for Vegas! it has been forever, and it was great going back again, and it was delish! After that, we went to Wal Mart and bought the movie "UNSTOPPABLE" it's a great movie, so i said let's get it. But since of the Long night before with the whole going to Montana and not getting home til 815 in the morning, i feel asleep after like 5 minutes of the movie! it was probably the best sleep i've had in my life. I was out. And according to Josh, i was moving around all night. I guess i kept hitting him, and he said i SNORED! as if! haha. But oh well.
And the day after, was of course, Easter. It was fun. the day consisted of: We woke up at 730, to see what the "Easter Bunny" got us. We got candy and matching camp chairs. After that, we went to church. The ward choir performed the entire time after sacrament meeting. They did really well. Adam and his best friend had a duet right at the beginning, and it was darling! After sacrament meeting, we headed home, changed, and got ready to leave for IF for a family dinner with my grandparents.
The dinner was delicious! We had ham, cheesy potato things, fruit jello (that I made!), and rolls. It was absolutely delicious! And for dessert, we had strawberry pie, lemon cream pie, and this banana trifle thingy. I had strawberry pie...and it was soooo good!
After dinner, however, we went to go see his dad. We were there for a while it felt like. It was nice. And we just talked, wished him Happy easter and everything. It was fun.
Then, after we got back to my grandparents place, we did an Easter egg hunt! i've always hated those things, just cuz i suck at finding things. growing up, my parents always had to do the "hot/cold game" with me, so i could find them easier. We had 15 eggs, and there were 3 of us (me, Josh and Adam), so each of us had to find 5. And i finished first! i was so proud! That NEVER happens before! haha.
After all that fun stuff, we played our "family game" named Rummy. If you don't know what that is, it's just like phase 10 basically. Just a couple rule changes. And of course, the person with the least amount of points wins. I basically rock this game and always win, or at least get a fairly low score. i never ever lose. Well..My mom has this thing, if we get above 500 points when we're trying to win, she'll buy us a milkshake. And the first time Josh played with us, he got like 515 points or something close to that, and all he needed was ONE card. So he gets a milkshake. And when we played yesterday, guess what score i got?! 644!!!! ya, that's right. So i now get a milkshake too! yay! haha. And yes, i was trying. i proved to mom that i was trying and so now she owes me one too :)
After that, it's time to go home. We were both so dang tired from waking up so early. We went to Redbox and got the movie "super 8" and Josh watched it, while i was asleep. I saw a couple minutes of it, and i thought it was lame. It was not what i expected.
