It's been a rough start to the year

Guys. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to 2018. It's only February, and i'm ready for a new year! can we just start over? pretty please?
Let me explain... (note: I'm not one to complain, but i want to remember these times, so we can look back and realize what we went thru and WE DID IT!)
let's start at the very beginning: me and Corbin rung in the new year with colds. woo hoo! but looking back, i wish that was as bad as it got! about 10-14 days into the new year/month, it gets worse!
here's a timeline.
SUNDAY: it was early sunday, around 1 am. We were all asleep. Corbin was in his bed. And Corbin wakes up crying. Which isn't unusual. He usually does around this time in the middle of the night. He struggles sleeping in his crib all night. So i go get him, don't think anything of it. He is covered in vomit. lovely..He didn't act weird Saturday, and doesn't have a fever so i was hoping it'd just be a fluke and a one time thing. WRONG! he was up all night throwing up. He couldn't keep anything down. No water, no breast milk, NOTHING. poor boy just wanted to breast feed, but if i did, he'd just start throwing up again. So around 9 am, we take him to urgent care. He tested positive for strep. AGAIN (Remember when both kids had strep in October? NO FUN!). But at least we know what's wrong, and we got him some antibiotics and hopefully he'll be himself in a day. that day was HARD. We wouldn't eat, and any liquids that he swallowed would just come up in vomit. Plus, he couldn't even keep his meds down. It was a hard and long day.
MONDAY: the next day, around 3 am, Hyrum wakes up throwing up. NO! i worked so hard to keep the kids away from each other. He did have a fever. So we decide to take him to the dr. I had some questions about Corbin, so we all decided to go. Josh was holding Hyrum, while i got corbin ready to go, and Josh decided to take Hyrum down to the car to wait. A couple minutes later, we were ready, so i grabbed Corbin and headed down. Only to find Josh on the floor with Hyrum. Josh had fallen down the stairs! He turned and that saved Hyrum from getting hurt (thank goodness!), but it really hurt Josh. He couldn't walk, and we were really worried he broke his ankle. well, luckily, we were on our way to the dr anyway. So we get to our dr, test for strep (it was positive), and he wrote a note, so josh could get an x-ray of his ankle. We take Josh to get an x-ray, and luckily, it wasn't broken. Just a really bad sprain. the rest of the day was just us disinfecting things. Hyrum had a fever, but he was at least able to keep down his meds. Corbin still wasn't keeping down his meds, and still not eating.
TUESDAY: again, super early in the morning, around 4 am, Josh started throwing up. Eventually, fluids started coming out of both ends. It was terrible. But we figured "oh, probably strep. We'll go in AGAIN when the dr opens" HA! i finally get to sleep. And around 9:30 am, Josh calls me from the bathroom, asking for a cup of water. So i do that. I'm foggy on the timeline, but i think everything happened quicker than what i remember. Not long after i get him a drink, He says "Aly, i need you to call an ambulance" so, obviously, i start freaking out. I go wake up Josh's cousin, who's staying with us. Josh says he can't move. So we're trying to figure out how to move him to the car, then one of us will take him to the hospital. Let's try and avoid an ambulance. But he kept insisting that we need to call the ambulance. But i know Josh, he tends to over exaggerate, especially when it comes to health stuff. But not long after, he passes out! he drops his water, and stops responding. It was TERRIFYING! he eventually makes it onto the floor in the bathroom. So we call the ambulance, and they come out here. I have to say, it was a new experience, and i really hope we don't have to do that again! I call my mom, FREAKING out. She calls my dad, who happened to be at work, and he works right across the street from us, and he dropped everything to come be here, while the paramedics come and evaluate Josh and eventually takes him to the hospital. My mom dropped everything as well, so so could come watch the kids and i can go to the hospital to be with Josh and find out what's going on. She also cleaned everything. I am so grateful to my parents on one of the hardest days ever. Luckily, he was just SUPER dehydrated, so all they needed to do was give him fluids in an IV. But it was a hard day. And i'm so glad it's over. Hyrum was pretty much better. Corbin, on the other hand, wouldn't move from my bed.
WEDNESDAY: Luckily, no one got sick in the middle of the night. But Corbin is not getting any better. All he's doing is laying on my bed. He's not eating, not talking. He's finally able to keep down breast milk. So i decide to take him back to the dr. They test him for influenza. And that was positive! my poor baby had strep AND influenza! so we got him and Hyrum some tamiflu and hope that'll help him get better. He was terrible. It was heartbreaking. Seriously, there were times we thought he wasn't going to make it thru the week. I cried multiple times. and health care isn't great here, so no one would really listen to my concerns.
THURSDAY: That day was a little better. Josh was up and moving. And you couldn't even tell that Hyrum was sick a couple days earlier. Corbin was still so down. Not moving from my bed, not eating. It was so hard.
That weekend, he seemed to get better. We finally got some yogurt in him, and eventually he got his strength back. I'm so so so glad that week it over! but we did it! if we can survive that week, we can do anything!
And as a "reward" for surviving that week, the next week, my mom took me to the movies! we saw "The greatest showman" and OH MY GOSH! it was AH-MAZING! i am a little bit obsessed. I could seriously talk about it for hours. I've now seen it 3 times. And i'm dying to go again! only a couple weeks until it's released!
