Happy Thanksgiving! i know, i'm a little late on this! haha.
for thanksgiving this year, we headed back to Idaho. With josh being so sick, it was a risky move, but it was so nice getting out of town for a couple weeks.
We left tuesday morning. the weather that morning was risky, but after we got out of town, it was a beautiful drive! lots os snow on the passes, but the roads were fairly easy. thank goodness!
Wednesday, we just spent the day at my grandparents house, baking and cooking. Getting things ready for the next day. it was really fun!
Thanksgiving, we went back to my grandparents around noon. We crafted. i can't find the picture, but it was cute! it was 2 wood pumpkins, with cute decorations on top. it was hard, trying to go between the craft and corbin, but thats ok! a couple years ago, i hated crafts. but now i love it! its so fun, and quite calming.
we had the normal turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls, stuffing, i made some jello salad, eggs, etc. it was delicious! we had lots of different pies too. i love thanksgiving! gets the family together, and all the yummy food!
the rest of the week, we tried to split time between both our families. Poor josh was sick, so he spent the majority of time at his aunt and uncles house, which is where we stayed.
We left saturday, because the weather forecast for sunday was awful. it was a good decision! the drive home was beautiful.
