This last week has been hectic! We moved! Moving is never any fun. But it's gotta happen.
Packing was an adventure. Especially with 2 kids! And they, especially Corbin, sensed my stress which made things harder. Luckily, we had a great ward, who came to help! Every hour on Monday, we had a new group of ladies from the relief society come in and help pack. They did awesome! Some other ward members surprised us with food. So grateful for all of them!
Tuesday was Josh's day off, so people from the elders quorum came and helped us get all the heavy stuff out so we took it to storage (Josh's aunt and uncle's house). And after that, the young women came and helped us clean. Everyone was so great and I'm soo grateful for them.
Fast forward to Saturday, we had family and the elders quorum help us so we could move to our parents house. That was insane! But because so many people showed up, it only took about an hour. We had more stuff than we realised. We planned on just packing it into a small trailer we borrowed from Josh's aunt and uncle. But we had too much! Luckily, someone in the ward offered to let us use his trailer. It was an exhausting day to say the least! And Josh was at work. And he couldn't get off until later and I was carless, without any furniture, food, ANYTHING. So we chilled at our brother in laws place, which is in the same complex. Josh got off around 4 (and it was his last day at work!). So we loaded up the car with last minute things and took off. Thanks to Josh's aunt, who drove the trailer here, and helping us unload!
Sunday, we just relaxed. Josh had a WrestleMania party at his aunt and uncle's house. I went for a little bit, but ended up getting sick so me and the kids came home. But it was fun while it lasted.
Monday, we headed back down to Idaho falls to do some cleaning. We were exhausted and didn't want to clean Saturday. Plus, we technically don't have to be out until Wednesday, so why not? Josh's best friend helped and it got done. There wasn't much to do, except the kitchen and floors. Monday night, josh had a going away party with his co workers. It was fun! We went to buffalo Wild Wings, which isn't my favorite at all, but we still had fun.
Now, we're settling in to my parents house for the time being. Hyrums having a rough time. He lived in the apartment for half his life! But things will get better soon.
