Newest member of the family!

First off... HAPPY EASTER! I hope everyone had a great Easter and spent it with loved ones. We spent it with my family, just hanging out. Had a GREAT dinner. The weather was beautiful so we spent lots of time outside. Then we came home, hung out with some great friends and watched movies and played games. It was a good day! :) 

We said hello to our newest member of the family this morning. Say hello to Jessie! 

She's a 1 year old lab/bull terroir mix. It was completely spur of the moment. We've been wanting to get a dog for a while but our apartments were strict with what it had to be. It was at least 1 year old and no bigger than 25 pounds. Jessie is twice that but that's ok! We called the manager and she approved it! We love going to the animal shelter and just playing with the dogs and cats. We found 3 that we loved (including Jessie). So we took them all seperately outside just to see which one clicked more. The other 2 were great and so pretty but they loved to jump on people. We can't have that around Hyrum. Jessie is so great. She's so calm. She was abandoned tho so she's very shy and nervous. Since bringing her home, she seems to be loosening up a little bit. We already love her and she loves us. She's even great with Hyrum so that's awesome! So say hello to our new doggie! 😃
