It was Christmas! My favorite holiday and it was even better sharing it with Hyrum! We did all the usual stuff.
Christmas Eve:
Got ready, went to my parents house. We have some family and really good friends over. We had a fancy meal. Prime rib, twiced baked potato casserole, cheese beans, jello, rolls, sparkling cider. It was delish! Then we did dishes. Sang Christmas songs, read stories. We also have a fun tradition. Everton buys a $1 gift, we read a story that had lots of rights and lefts and pass them whatever way the story says. It's always fun. I love the way we do Christmas. Although, poor Hyrum. He got a fever. It was 101.5 that evening. 
Christmas:
We spent the night at my parents. We were lucky. Hyrum slept all night! He hasn't done that in months! Merry Christmas to us! We woke up at 730. Since my brother, Adam, likes to snoop to see what Santa brought in the middle of the night, this is what my parents did: 
So we wake up. Go look at what "Santa" brought us. I got socks, and infinity scarf, candy. Hyrum got slippers, dissolvable Cheerios, a Veggietales DVD, socks. We then had breakfast. The only time we actually have a cooked breakfast. And the only meal mom cooks that day. We had bacon and eggs, raspberry pull apart (delish!!!) and orange juice. Sooo yummy! Then it was gift time. We were spoiled this year! Hyrum got lots of toys, and clothes.
It was a good year. We're definitely looking forward to this coming year. Seeing our sweet baby boy growing, having new adventures, I think it's gonna be a good year.
