So now that Josh is out of work and i don't have too many hours at work...Me and Josh have a lot of free time together, so what do we do? I do wish we lived in Idaho Falls already, just to save gas. But i have been needing just a fun, relaxing day. and that's just what i got!
Me and Josh woke up at about 8, i played on my computer, played on my iTunes, got more songs, and Josh just watched his show on Netflix. Alot of the the days, we've got plans and meetings in IF, we NEVER have just a free day to just ourselves; nothing to do, just have a nice day. It's nice weather as well, which is fantastic! So what do we do? we still head to IF. No plans at all, just driving and see where we end up. we left at about 11:30, so we got there right at lunch time. So, as you've read in later posts, Josh has fun with his "surprises". He had me cover my eyes, and he decided to surprise me with lunch...APPLEBEES! That is probably one of my favorite restaurants. We always get the same thing, and it was absolutely delicious. We had a blast there. We always get the 2 for $20. We get wings for the appetizer (i hate those, but Josh loves them), and We both get steaks, mashed potatoes, and fries. It is absolutely delicious!!
After lunch, what is there to do in Idaho Falls, Idaho? There is hardly anything there that we haven't done in a while, except the zoo. So why not? Let's go to the zoo! we originally wanted to go to the museum of Idaho, but that is too much money! so let's go to the zoo! I haven't been to the zoo in a couple years so i think it's time to go again. The only downside was there were a whole bunch of schools there with little elementary school kids running around. They were cute, but there were soo many. It got kind of overwhelming. It was fun. We had fun, taking pictures, and just having a fun, relaxing day. We had fun with the monkeys, the lions, some birds, and just lots of other things. It was just like we were little kids again! i think we were the only people in there who didn't have at least 3 kids following them around everywhere. So we got to just forget about our stresses of life, and just laugh. I wish the zoo was bigger, just so it could've lasted just a little bit longer. it was sad to see the alligator was not there. We asked someone why and they said, due to the awesome bipolar weather, the alligator gets really cranky so they only bring it out one time a year. that sucks! And also, the tiger died a while ago :( because it was so old and had arthritis, so they had to kill it :( so dang sad! but other than those few things, it was a blast! just getting out, forgetting about things, and just laughing with my husband! :D
