instead of getting with either of our families, we decided to get together with some friends from DI and their friends. There was 7 of us total (3 couples and one other person) in an apartment. It was really fun! It was fun hanging with just us married couples for once. We played, games, got to know each other, watch movies and cook. We got there at like 1130 and we stayed til like 8 or 9. It wasn't very eventful except the fact that we didn't get a turkey. We put in the turkey at like noon and we finally gave up when we decided to leave. It hardly cooked at all. There was a little piece that got cooked but the rest was still raw. Yummy huh? But the rest of the food turned out great. We had vegetables, mashed potatoes, and rolls and lots of snacking food. So that was good and it was great getting to know other people. They were all really sweet and funny. I wish we had a picture. but oh well!! i just need to start taking pictures now with this blog huh? i'll get better at it i promise. haha. well happy thanksgiving!!!
